This beautiful home on Howe Island can be reached by a short ferry ride from the mainland and close to the 401 exit. This location offers a large accommodation that has large open areas and fabulous open water access with docking. Howe Haven Lodge is suitable for large families and water lovers. The Boathouse is set at the bottom of landscaped gardens and a sloping lawn to the shore with the perfect set up for enjoying a day on the water it has shore power and clean deep water access.
The Lodge
The Lodge is a large family home on two levels with a walk out basement accommodates 10 guests. It has an impressive 360 degree view main living area with a custom built fireplace with vaulted beam ceiling. It has a surrounding deck and a large elevated covered Gazebo that overlooks the gardens with views to the water. Set in mature landscaping and beautiful gardens with a nature pond and outdoor summer house it offers amazing indoor and outdoor living.
The Boathouse
Provides dockage and on shore power with safe storage for smaller boats and water craft equipment. A perfect water recreational facility for spending summer days.

Swimming
The water is clear and clean with sand bottom with few rocks or weeds. The bay is quiet and the water depth is approximately 10ft off the end of the dock with a swim ladder for re-entry. We have two areas to access the water with a beach type sloped access with a seating platform which is more a stone beach for those staying at the Lodge and access via the dock at the boathouse.
Boat Dock
The boathouse has two small housed boat slips. The main dock is fixed and has 30amp power outlet and can accommodate large boats with approximately 10 feet clearance and sand bottom. The bay is a recognized mooring spot on the west side of Howe island. Please note Docking is only available when booked with the boathouse.
Relaxation
There are two areas on the waterfront to sit and relax with one each allocated to each unit so everyone can take in the spectacular views of the bay and Wolfe island to the west. You can sit back relax and enjoy the cool summer breeze and watch the sunset across the bay.
Kayak/Canoe
A canoe and 2 kayaks are available at Boathouse and 2 kayaks are available for the Lodge with the provision of life jackets for the safe recreational use of the bay.
